Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Information 

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front seat assembly (both sides).

    (Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Floor Console - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  4. Remove the cluster fascia panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "CLUSTER FASCIA PANEL ")

  5. Remove the glove box housing.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "Glove Box Housing ")

  6. Remove the center fascia panel and center fascia lower panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "Center Fascia Panel ")

  7. Remove the crash pad main lower panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash Pad Center Panel ")

  8. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to Steering System - "STEERING WHEEL ")

  9. Remove the steering column shroud lower panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "Steering Column Shroud Panel ")

  10. Using a remover, remove the center speaker grill (A).

  11. Disconnect the photo sensor connector (A) and auto light sensor connector (B) and then remove the center speaker grill (C).

  12. Separate the center speaker (A) after loosening the screw.

  13. Remove the center speaker (B) after disconnecting the connector (A).

  14. Remove the both sides mid range speaker grill (A) by using a remover.

  15. Separate the both sides mid range speaker (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

  16. Remove the both sides mid range speaker (B) after disconnecting the connector (A).

  17. Disconnect the airbag connector (B) and loosen the mounting bolts (A).

  18. Remove the main crash pad assembly (A) after loosening the mounting bolts & nuts.

  19. Remove the passenger airbag (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

  20. Install in the reverse order of removal.
