DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Passenger Telltale Lamp failure Ground short or Battery short
  1. Burnt-out fuse.
  2. Burnt-out Telltale lamp.
  3. Open circuit in Telltale lamp harness.
  4. Short circuit in Telltale lamp harness.
  5. Check SRSCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Passenger Airbag Telltale Lamp circuit shorted If the output voltage of airbag warning lamp circuit is lower than 0.31V when Passenger Airbag Telltale Lamp is "OFF" state.
  • Passenger Airbag Telltale Lamp circuit shorted If the output voltage of airbag warning lamp circuit is lower than 0.31V when Passenger Airbag Telltale Lamp is "ON" state.
  • Passenger Airbag Telltale Lamp circuit opened If the output voltage of airbag warning lamp circuit is Higher than 8.7V when Passenger Airbag Telltale Lamp is "ON" state.
