Ground Circuit Inspection

Ignition switch "OFF".
Disconnect the battery (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least one minutes.
Disconnect the SRSCM connector.
Measure resistance between Pin No. 11 (ground) terminal of the SRSCM harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. below 1 Ω

Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, Replace the SRSCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, Replace the main wiring of SRSCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
CAUTION: Please be careful handling the SRSCM. The seat belt pre-tensioner, curtain airbag and side airbag can be operated when the SRSCM has an impact and rotation when Ignition is "ON". It may be cause serious risk.
