Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check ECT, IAT Correlation and Monitor at cold condition
  1. Poor connection
  2. Damaged wiring
  3. ECTS
  4. IATS
Enable Conditions
  • Soaking time greater than 6s
  • No Heater Block
Threshold Value
  • The temperature difference between ECTS and IATS is greater than 20°C (68°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediate
Mil On Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
