Disconnect ECTS connector.
Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (signal) and Pin No. 1 (ground) of the ECTS. (Component Side)
Specification: Approx. 1.8kΩ at 81.9°F (27°C)

Does the ECTS operate properly? (Check variation)
YES
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace ECTS and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
