Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, low
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to ground in signal circuit
  3. MAPS
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed greater than 80 RPM
Threshold Value
  • Sensor voltage less than 0.2 V
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Out-of-range low
Enable Conditions
  • -
Threshold Value
  • MAP less than 10kPa (0.1bar/1.45psi)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
