Component Inspection

■ Inspect Ambient Air Temperature Sensor 

1. Ignition "OFF"
2. Disconnect AATS connector.
3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (signal) and Pin No. 2 (ground) terminal of the AATS. (Component Side)

   Specification:

   -20 °C (-4 °F)	18.76~21.37	40 °C (104 °F)	1.504~1.616
   0 °C (32 °F)	7.26~7.954	60 °C (140 °F)	0.757~0.835
   20 °C (68 °F)	3.183~3.372	80 °C (176 °F)	0.425~0.452
   25 °C (77 °F)	2.633~2.768	100 °C (212 °F)	0.220~0.255

4. Is the measured Value within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If problem still occurs, replace AATS and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
