Control Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF" & disconnect HO2S (S1) connector.
  2. Ignition "ON"
  3. Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (Control) terminal of RCV harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 3.5V

  4. Ignition "OFF" and disconnect RCV, ECM connector.
  5. Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Control) terminal of RCV harness connector and Pin No. 1 (Power) terminal of RCV harness connector.

    Specification:  Approx. 0Ω

  6. Ignition "OFF" and disconnect RCV, ECM connector.
  7. Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Control) terminal of RCV harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞Ω

  8. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    NO
