Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check
  1. Check EWGA
  2. Short to ground in EWGA position sensor circuit
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is greater than 10V and less than 16V
Threshold Value
  • Waste gate sensor voltage is less than 0.2V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
