DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check
  1. Check EWGA
  2. Check wastegate valve
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is greater than 10V and less than 16V
  • Engine coolant temp. is greater than 50°C (122°F)
  • Ambient Air temp. is greater than -10°C (14°F)
  • Engine running
Threshold Value
  • Boost Control Position value difference between target position and actual position is greater then tolerance band dependent on gradient of desired position
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
