Component Inspection

■ Check CCV for leakage 

1. Disconnect the hose leading from the CCV to Canister at CCV.
2. Visually Check any tear of the hose leading from the CCV to Canister.
3. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
4. Apply a vacuum at the nipple and verify that the CCV holds vacuum.
5. Perform "Actuation Test"  for CCV.

6. Does CCV operates properly?

   YES 

   • Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Go to "Inspect CCV" procedure below.

■ Inspect CCV 

1. Ignition "OFF"
2. Disconnect CCV connector.
3. Measure resistance between power and control terminal of the CCV. (Component Side)

   Specification:  Approx. 20Ω [20°C (68°F)]

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the CCV operate properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If problem still occurs, replace CCV and then go to "SYSTEM INSPECTION " procedure.
