Component Inspection

■ Check CCV for leakage
- Disconnect the hose leading from the CCV to Canister at CCV.
- Visually Check any tear of the hose leading from the CCV to Canister.
- Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Apply a vacuum at the nipple and verify that the CCV holds vacuum.
- Perform "Actuation Test"
for CCV.

- Does CCV operates properly?
YES
- Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to "Inspect CCV" procedure below.
■ Inspect CCV
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect CCV connector.
- Measure resistance between power and control terminal of the CCV. (Component Side)
Specification: Approx. 20Ω [20°C (68°F)]
■ Confirm Part Inspection
- Does the CCV operate properly? (Check variation)
YES
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace CCV and then go to "SYSTEM INSPECTION " procedure.
