DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Signal check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in signal circuit
  3. ABS (ESC/ESP) Module
Enable Conditions
  • Pin voltage input level = high level
  • Turbine speed/Eng. speed ratio > 0.8
  • Brake status: Brake pedal not pressed
Threshold Value
  • Time period greater than 0.7s
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Signal check
Enable Conditions
  • Pin voltage input level = low level
  • Turbine speed/Eng. speed ratio > 0.8
  • Brake status: Brake pedal not pressed
Threshold Value
  • Time period greater than 0.7s
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Case 3 DTC Strategy
  • Out-of-range high
Enable Conditions
  • Sensor signal no error (signal input from CAN or HW)
Threshold Value
  • Vehicle speed greater than 273km/h (170mph)

  • Engine speed greater than 1000RPM and less than 4520RPM
  • Fuel system status: Fuel cut off
