DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Throttle response check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short in motor circuit
  3. ETC motor
  4. Obstruction in the throttle plate movement
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition On
  • Battery voltage greater than 8V
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value of difference of Throttle set pos and Actual throttle pos. greater than Threshold f (Variation of Throttle set-point)
  1. Throttle set point gradient 0% - Throttle value 4.0%
  2. Throttle set point gradient 1% - Throttle value 11.0%
  3. Throttle set point gradient 5% - Throttle value 20.0%
  4. Throttle set point gradient 15% - Throttle value 50.0%
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.5s
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Motor current range performance
Enable Conditions
  • IG On
  • Battery voltage greater than 8V
Threshold Value
  • Actuator duty greater than 80 %
Diagnostic Time
  • Max error 5s
  • Min error 0.6s
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
