DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Engine Oil Level, Spark Plug, Injector
  1. Engine Oil Level
  2. Spark plug (gap, crack, contamination)
  3. Knock Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Idle
  • Turbocharger ON (Ratio of air flow over 120%)
  • Coolant temperature is greater than 70°C (158°F)
  • Engine speed is greater than 2440RPM
Threshold Value
  • Knock Signal is greater than THD (Total Harmonic Distortion)
Diagnostic Time
  • -
MIL ON Condition
  • MIL OFF (DTC only)
