Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Determines if actual torque is grossly different from desired torque
  1. Intake air leakage
  2. Faulty ETS System
  3. Clogged exhaust system
  4. Faulty ECM

Threshold Value
  • Engine Target Torque greater than Permit Torque
  • Engine Actual Torque greater than Permit Torque
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous

  • 1 Drive Cycle
