AHB Brake System Bleeding Step 1 (IBAU ECU OFF)

NOTE: IBAU brake fluid should be full at all times during bleeding procedure to prevent air getting in the brake system.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal to turn off IBAU ECU.
Set the air bleeding tool (09580-3D100) and the cap (0k585-E8100) to brake reservoir and adjust air pressure to: 0.3~0.5MPa (43.5 ~ 72.5psi).

To start bleeding the brake fluid; follow the sequence below, begin air bleeding procedure on each bleed screw until air bubbles no longer appear in the brake fluid. After air bleeding is done, close the bleed screws.
(1) PSU (2) IBAU (2 bleed screws) (3) 4 wheels (15 seconds for each)

To perform air bleeding procedure; step on the brake pedal and open the bleed screws, then close the bleed screws and release the brake pedal. Perform this procedure 10 times.
- Bleed screw sequence: (1) IBAU (2 bleed screws) (2) 4 wheels
- Repeat until air bubbles no longer appear in the brake fluid
- Be careful of air that comes out of the brake line when opening the bleed screws, carefully open each bleed screw.
