Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the 12V battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the under cover (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

  3. Drain the coolant of hybrid motor cooling system.

    (Refer to COOLANT .)

  4. Remove the right head ramp.

    (Refer to HEAD LAMPS .)

  5. Remove the electric water pump (EWP) connector (A).

  6. Disconnect the EWP inlet hose (A) and outlet hose (B).

  7. Remove the bracket bolt and remove the electric water pump (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
