DTC P052A: Cold Start 'A' Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced (Bank 1 In-Cam): General Description

This DTC is a functional check of the VVT unit. Diagnose any base engine concerns related to the engine oil pressure or engine timing. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS for oil pressure specs. Check the oil pressure using an oil pressure gauge after removing the oil pressure switch on the cylinder block. Refer to TIMING CHAIN to check the engine timing.
