System Inspection

■ Visual Check 

1. Inspect visually/physically the following items:
   • Air cleaner filter element for excessive dirt or any foreign objects
   • Intake system restriction
   • Exhaust system restriction
   • Engine mechanical problem
   • Sludged throttle body
2. Have any problems been found?

   YES 

   • Repair as necessary and go to "Resetting Adaptive Values" procedure below.

   NO 

   • Clear DTC and Test-drive under enable conditions above-mentioned. After the test, If this DTC is set, go to "Resetting Adaptive Values" procedure. If not, troubleshooting is completed.

■ Resetting Adaptive Values 

1. Connect KDS/GDS to DLC (Data Link Cable).
2. Ignition "ON" & ENG "OFF"
3. Select the "Vehicle S/W Management" about related DTC with KDS/GDS.

4. When the "Resetting Adaptive Values" has been finished perfectly, press "OK" button and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
