Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, low
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short to ground in signal Circuit
  3. Faulty FTPS
  4. Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Speed greater than 500RPM
Threshold value
  • Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS) Voltage less than 0.18V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
