Signal Circuit Inspection

- Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect FTPS connector.
- Ignition "ON"
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 3 (Signal) terminal of FTPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
- Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect PCM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (Signal) terminal FTPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞
- Is the measured Value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
