DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Phase signal level check at consecutive gaps on CKP sensor signal
  1. Poor connection
  2. Abnormal assembling state
  3. CMPS
  4. CMPS incorrectly installed
  5. Damaged CMPS shielding
  6. CMP circuit shorted to other CMP circuits
Enable Conditions
  • No CKP sensor error
  • Gap of CKP sensor wheel detected
Threshold Value
  • Counter of failure to detect toggling of phase signal level at consecutive gaps in greater than 5 times.
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
