DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Signal check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in signal circuit
  3. Knock sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed greater than 2440 RPM
  • Knock control condition is activated
Threshold Value
  • Normalized reference level of knock signal is less than lower limit, f (RPM)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
Enable Conditions
  • Knock control condition is not activated
Threshold Value
  • Short circuit to ground
  • Short circuit to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
