DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Multiple Misfire
  1. Poor connection
  2. Ignition system
  3. Fuel system
  4. Intake/exhaust air system
  5. Ignition timing
  6. Injector
  7. Bad quality fuel
Case 1 Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is greater than 400RPM and less than 4520RPM
  • Engine load is greater than Zero torque
Threshold Value
  • Misfire rate greater than 3.25% per 1000 rev.
Diagnostic Time
  • 1000 rev.
MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycle
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • Negative torque change is less than 0%/s
  • Engine Coolant temperature is greater than -8.3°C (86.94°F)
  • Intake air temperature is greater than -8.3°C (86.94°F)
Threshold Value
  • Misfire rate greater than 2.5% to 22.2% per 200 rev.
Diagnostic Time
  • 200 rev.
MIL ON Condition
  • Immediate
