DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality Check, Underboost
  1. Inspect Air cleaner
  2. Intake side leakage
  3. Intake side Blocked
  4. Inspect waste gate valve and Recirculation valve (RCV) control hose blocked/leak/assemble improperly
  5. Faulty Boost Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is greater than 2000RPM to 2800RPM
  • Atmosphere pressure is greater than 700hpa (0.7bar/10.15psi)
  • Difference between desired boost Pressure and Ambient Pressure is greater than 500hpa (0.5bar/7.25psi) (Altitude 2000m)/600hpa (0.6bar/8.7psi) (Altitude 0m) for more than 3s
Threshold Value
  • Difference between boost Pressure and desired boost Pressure is less than -200hpa (-0.2bar/-2.9psi)
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s

  • 3 driving cycles
