Component Inspection

■ Check BPS performance 

1. Ignition "OFF"
2. Connect CH A probe to signal terminal of MAPS connector and CH B probe to signal terminal of BPS connector.
3. Connect CH C probe to signal terminal of TPS connector.
4. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
5. Measure signal waveform of MAPS, BPS and TPS all together by stepping on and off the accelerator pedal.

   Specification:  Refer to Signal Waveform & Data below.

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the RCV operate properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If problem still occurs, replace BPS and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
