WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Range Check, High
  1. Poor connection
  2. Leakage test of surge tank
  3. Leakage test of intercooler (hose)
  4. Damaged turbocharger boost pressure/air cooler temperature sensor
  5. Contaminated or blocked turbocharger boost pressure/air cooler temperature sensor
  6. Slow responding turbocharger boost pressure/air cooler temperature sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Boost Sensor voltage is greater than 0.245V and less than 4.875V
Threshold Value
  • Intake pressure is greater than 2800hpa (2.8bar/40.61psi)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Range Check, low
Enable Conditions
  • Boost Sensor voltage is greater than 0.245V and less than 4.875V
Threshold Value
  • Intake pressure is less than 500 hpa (0.5bar/7.25psi)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Case 3 DTC Strategy
  • Rationality Check, high
Enable Conditions
  • Boost Sensor voltage is greater than 0.245V and less than 4.875V
  • Engine speed is less than 1000RPM
  • Throttle angle is greater than 6%
  • No ambient pressure sensor error
  • No throttle actuator error
Threshold Value
  • Difference between boost Pressure and Ambient Pressure is greater than -100hpa (-0.1bar/-1.45psi)
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
