Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the front seat assembly.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
(Refer to Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
- Slightly remove the front door body side weatherstrip.
- Slightly remove the rear door body side weatherstrip.
- Remove the front door scuff trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "FRONT DOOR SCUFF TRIM ")
- Remove the rear door scuff trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "REAR DOOR SCUFF TRIM ")
- Remove the center pillar lower trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "CENTER PILLAR TRIM ")
- Remove the cowl side trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "COWL SIDE TRIM ")
- Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Floor Console - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the accelerator pedal.
(Refer to ACCELERATOR PEDAL Engine Control/Fuel System )
- Remove the floor carpet assembly (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
Replace any damage clips.
