Main harness Circuit Inspection

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect the battery (-) cable and wait at least for one minute.
Disconnect Knee Airbag - Driver connector.
Ignition "ON"
Measure signal waveform between Pin No. 1 (High) terminal of the Knee Airbag - Driver harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure signal waveform between Pin No. 2 (Low) terminal of the Knee Airbag - Driver harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Refer the specifications in Fig 1)

Is the measured signal waveform within specifications?
YES
- Substitute a known-good SRSCM, and check for proper operation.
  If the problem is corrected, replace SRSCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute the SRSCM main harness and check for proper operation.
  If the problem is corrected, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
