DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Message Monitoring - wheel speed
  1. Abnormal wheels speed data of AHB message(CAN message)
  2. EPB ECU
Enable condition
  • C1616(CAN BUS Off) no DTC
  • Normal battery condition
  • 2 sec after ignition "ON"
Threshold value
  • Abnormal wheels speed data of AHB message(CAN message) for 0.2 sec.
Warning Indicator Lamp Status
  • Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
Fail Safe
  • Dynamic Braking(ESC) inhibited.
Reset Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
