DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Message Monitoring
  1. Sensor or system error concerned IBAU
  2. EPB ECU
Enable condition
  • C1616(CAN BUS Off) no DTC
  • Normal battery condition
  • 2 sec after ignition "ON"
Threshold value
  • No IBAU message(CAN message) more than 0.5sec.
    • AHB message(brake signal, wheel speed)
Warning Indicator Lamp Status
  • Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
Fail Safe
  • Dynamic Braking(ESC) inhibited
  • EPB auto release function inhibited
Reset Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
