Brake test Switch Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 2(signal) terminal of Stop lamp Switch harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx 12V
- Measure the voltage between Pin No. 2(signal) terminal of Stop lamp Switch harness connector while switch is being pressed.
Specification: Approx 0V
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to Next step procedure.
NO
- Replace Stop lamp Switch and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
