Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the wheel & tire.

    Tightening torque: 

    88.3 - 107.9 N.m (9.0 - 11.0 kgf.m, 65.1 - 79.6 lb.ft)

    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the front wheel & tire.
  2. Disconnect the rear speed wheel sensor (A).

  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor cable nuts (A) and bolt (B) and then remove the cable from the trailing arm.

    Tightening torque: 

    1. 6.8 - 10.7 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.0 - 7.9 lb.ft)
    2. 8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

  4. Remove the rear seat

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  5. Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor connector (A) and then remove the wheel speed sensor.
