DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to power/ground in C-CAN high line
  3. Short to power/ground in C-CAN low line
  4. Short circuit between CAN high and low line
  5. Faulty control modules that connected to C-CAN
Enable Condition
  • Ignition switch "ON"
  • No related DTC is stored
Threshold Value
  • CAN bus off
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
Warning Lamp
  • ESC (ESP) Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
