Check For Open & Short In Harness

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect EPB actuator and EPB ECU main harness connector.
  3. Measure resistance between Motor (-), (+) terminal of EPB actuator harness connector and Motor (-), (+) terminal of EPB ECU harness connector.

    Specification:  below 1Ω

  4. Measure resistance between Motor (-), (+) terminal of EPB actuator LH harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞Ω

  5. Is the measured Value within specification?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Check for open/short circuit between EPB ECU & actuator. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
