DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Can message monitoring
  1. Defective CAN communication leads
  2. Faulty Cluster system
  3. Faulty IPM system
Enable conditions
  • IG ON
  • Battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
  • Proper CAN bus function
Threshold value
  • Cluster message (Ignition, ODO, Rear gear position signal, driver door/seat belt, hood, trunk signal, etc) is not received for 0.5 second
Fail-Safe
  • Automatic release function inhibited
