Check For Open & Short In Harness
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect EPB Switch and EPB ECU main harness connector.
- Measure resistance between switch signal terminals of EPB Switch harness connector and switch signal terminals of EPB ECU harness connector.
Specification: below 1Ω
- Measure resistance between switch signal terminals of EPB Switch harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Inspect and repair the switch signal lines between EPB ECU & EPB switch for O/C or S/C, then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
