Repair procedures: Replacement

NOTE:
  • After remove the rear combination lamp.
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts your hands.
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Take care not bend or scratch the cover and other parts.
  1. Remove the trunk trim.

    (Refer to - "TRUNK TRIM ")

  2. Disconnect the rear bumper main connectors (A).

  3. Loosen the trunk inner mounting bolts.

  4. Disconnect the connector (B), and then loosen the rear combination lamp mounting nuts.
  5. Remove the rear combination lamp (A).

  6. Loosen the rear bumper upper side mounting screw and clips.

  7. Loosen the rear bumper lower side mounting clips.

  8. Loosen the mounting bolts.

  9. After loosening the rear bumper side's mounting screws, then disconnect the side's.
    NOTE:
    • Remove the rear bumper by pulling up the side of the rear bumper and then pull it out.
    CAUTION:
    • When you pull out the rear bumper, the side part of the rear bumper could be damaged by the projection.

  10. Remove the rear bumper cover (A).

  11. Installation is the reverse of removal.
    NOTE:
    • Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
    • Replace any damage clips.
