Brake Test Switch Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (signal) terminal of Stop lamp Switch harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx 12V
- Measure the voltage between Pin No. 2 (signal) terminal of Stop lamp Switch harness connector while switch is being pressed.
Specification: Approx 0V
- Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Go to Next step procedure.
NO
- Replace Stop lamp Switch and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
