Removal And Installation

Disconnect the battery terminals.
Remove the air duct (A).

Disconnect the intercooler inlet hose (A).
Tightening torque

4.9 ~ 6.9 N.m (0.5 ~ 0.7 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 5.1 lb-ft)

Lift the vehicle.
Remove the engine room under cover (A, B).
Tightening torque

9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

Remove the front bumper. (Refer to FRONT BUMPER )
Remove the intercooler upper mounting bracket (A).
Tightening torque

4.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)

Disconnect the intercooler outlet hose (A).

Remove the air guide (A) after loosening the bolts.
Air guide bolts tightening torque:

4.9 ~ 7.8 N.m (0.5 ~ 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 5.8 lb-ft)

Remove the intercooler (A).

Installation is reverse of removal.
