Hood Ajar Switch: Service and Repair

Inspection

1. Disconnect the hood switch connector (A).




2. Check for continuity between terminals






Removal

1. After loosening the mounting bolts and connector (A), then remove the hood switch (B).






Installation

1. Install is reverse of removal.
