Internal Tail Lamp Circuit Inspection

Check short to ground in harness
1. IG "OFF", disconnect battery (-) terminal.
2. Disconnect SJB, Internal Tail Lamp connector.
3. Measure resistance between the Internal Tail Lamp terminal of SJB harness connector and chassis ground.
  Specification : Infinity

  For 2013 refer to ETM
4. Is the measured resistance within specification?
  YES
  - Substitute with a known - good SJB and check for proper operation.
    If the problem is corrected, replace the SJB and go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR procedure.
  NO
  - Repair short to ground in circuit of Internal Tail Lamp, and go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR procedure.
