General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Open or short of power supply circuit
  2. Blown fuse
  3. Faulty AHB ECU
Enable Conditions Case1
  • When the voltage of battery2 < 4±0.5V is continued for 1sec
Case2
  • When motor is not active, the monitoring voltage of the motor > 2±0.5V is continued for 1sec
Case3
  • When motor is not active, the monitoring voltage of the motor < Specific Voltage is continued for 1sec
Case4
  • After motor relay is switched OFF, ECU check malfunction of motor. If the time which the voltage of the motor is decreased is less than evaluation time, recheck is performed again for a maximum of three times. When the voltage of the motor is not normal even on the third recheck, the controller recognizes it as failure.
Fail Safe
  • EBD warning lamp and buzzer are activated.
  • "Stop! Check Brake!" message is displayed on LCD.
