Component Inspection

IG "OFF".
IG "ON".
Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode again.
Are any DTCs present?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good HCU and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace HCU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- If NG, substitute with a known-good AHB ECU and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace AHB ECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  NOTE:
  In a case of replacing AHB, operate following functions
  1. "Brake Pedal Travel Sensor Calibration" for brake pedal travel sensor offset correction (refer to C1380 BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL SENSOR NOT CALIBRATED )
  2. "Pressure Sensor Calibration" for pressure sensor offset correction (refer to C1384 PRESSURE SENSOR NOT CALIBRATED )
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by faulty AHB, faulty HCU or was repaired and AHB memory was not cleared. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
