General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  1. Faulty TCM
  2. Open or short in CAN communication line
  3. Poor connection
Enable Conditions
  • In case that TCM message was not received for more than 500ms within normal voltage condition.
    • The monitoring waits 2 sec after power up
Fail Safe
  • EBD warning lamp is activated and buzzer is not activated.
  • "Check Brake!" message is displayed on LCD.
