General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Faulty Brake Pedal Travel Sensor
  2. Open or short of Brake Pedal Travel Sensor circuit
Enable Conditions
  • A failure is detected if Vpdt < 0.2±0.1V or Vpdt > 4.8±0.1V longer than the 1sec

    PDT: Brake pedal travel sensor - PDT
Fail Safe
  • EBD warning lamp is activated and buzzer is not activated.
  • "Check Brake!" message is displayed on LCD.
