DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check voltage
  • Burnt-out fuse.
  • Burnt-out warning lamp.
  • Open circuit in warning lamp harness.
  • Short circuit in warning lamp harness (Short to Battery, Short to GND)
  • Faulty SRSCM.
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value Lamp "OFF"
  • Line voltage < 0.3V -> ground short
Lamp "ON"
  • Line voltage < 0.3V -> ground short
  • Line voltage > 6.1V -> battery short
Diagnostic Time Qualification
  • More than 10times/1sec
De-Qualification
  • More than 20times/2sec
