General Information: General Description

The Front Side Impact Sensor (FSIS) is located in both side of center pillar, and detects broad collision.

When the SIS delivers a collision signal to the SRSCM, the SRSCM checks if the safing sensor (located in SRSCM) detects collision. If both the SIS and the safing sensor detect collision simultaneously, the SRSCM operates the side airbag.
