General Information: General Description

The Side Airbag (SAB), located in the driver and passenger seat, protects passenger's head and shoulder.

The SAB consists of the airbag and inflator.

The airbag reduces the impact of a collision by filling up with gas.

The Inflator generates gas, which is used to deploy the airbag when collision occurs.

CAUTION: Never measure resistance of SAB directly, since the current of the measuring device may cause unexpected airbag deployment.
