General Information: General Description

Front Side Impact Sensor (FSIS) is located in both side of center pillar detects broad collision.

When the SIS delivers a collision signal to the SRSCM, the SRSCM checks if the safing sensor (located in SRSCM) detects collision.

and if both SIS and safing sensor detects collision simultaneously, SRSCM operates side airbag and curtain airbag.
